If I had to go through it all again, to get to where we are today, I would. Here at Community Fit we have found our place to belong, with people who are serious about living a life of joy, activity, family, God, and service. Together we lift each other and help each other become better people, fathers, mothers, friends, and neighbors. Together we prepare for whatever life might throw at us. I believe in trying a little harder to be a little better everyday. That exercise is emotional and we need a safe place full of meaningful connection for our whole family ---Lizz Bennett

I love being a part of Community Fit because it is more than a gym, it is a place where you are encouraged, challenged & surrounded by people that want you to be better!!! I typically coach the 5:30pm classes on Tuesday & Thursday’s, although you may see a guest appearance at a 5am, 830am or possibly even 12:30pm. I love coaching, I didn’t realize how much I did until I left corporate America & fell back in love with working out, going from runner to triathlete, and eventually to an Endurance & Health coach. I love to see folks set lofty goals, pursue them with consistency & achieve their hearts desires!!! I also enjoy achieving lofty goals myself, mine are in the form of running & triathlon goals. In 2019, I would like to set personal records in the ½ marathon (Bentonville Half) & marathon (NYC Marathon!!!); as well as achieve a higher placing finish at the IM Chattanooga 70.3 and IM 70.3 World Championships in Nice, France!! I am super excited about what 2019 has in store for all of us & I am hopeful I can help you achieve your goals at Community Fit & beyond!!---Danielle Many

My family and I moved to NW Arkansas 12 years ago and have fallen in love with the area.  I am a wife to Greg and a mom to Tanner, Brynlee and Kade. I love being a part of The Community Fit!  The best part is the people!  Watching someone improve and reach the goals they have set for themselves is so inspiring.   The community atmosphere lifts and carries the class and doesn’t stop when the class is over or when the members walk out the door.   My goal this year is to finally be able to do kip pullups.  I will get it! ---Amy Bench


After growing up in Bentonville, Nick moved to Nashville in 2013 to play college basketball for Belmont University. During his time in school Nick took on personal training clients as well as taught group fitness classes all while earning a Marketing degree and a Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification. Post-college Nick moved to Europe to play professional basketball, one season in Germany and another in the Czech Republic. Now that basketball has come to an end Nick is excited to be back in Arkansas, doing what he loves: helping people be healthy, happy, and part of something bigger than themselves. Nick’s hobbies include traveling, meeting new people, and getting sweaty at Community Fit. ---Nick Smith

As a runner and triathlete, I have a passion for all things fitness.  My wife and I both train and race throughout the year which we hope rubs off on our two daughters (8 and 2) as they grow up.  We enjoy planning destination races across the country to see and explore new places that we probably wouldn't otherwise.  I have completed numerous events that range from a 5k all the way to a full Ironman, and my training seeks to consistently improve and reach personal goals.  Although I enjoy training and racing, helping and teaching others is even more satisfying; this is what ultimately brought me to Community Fit. ---David Steeves

I have lived in the area for almost 9 years, and have been a part of several gyms- but there is NOTHING like Community Fit. The purpose, the passion and the people are what make this gym unique and approachable. I love getting to know new people and transforming our bodies and the community at the same time.  Outside of the gym, I am a full-time marketer, mom and wife. I work out to seek balance and take care of my body so I can take care of others. Alisha has a natural ability to make anyone feel like they can accomplish anything. She works as a preschool teacher, part time, and full time chauffer for her children. She actively volunteers with her kid's schools, her church, and as "mom" to many.  Her smile, sense of humor, and leadership are uniquely contagious. The moment I walked into Community Fit, I knew this place was different.  The vision – Work Hard and Lift Each Other Up – emanates from this group of supportive and encouraging people.  It is a safe place for people to challenge themselves and go beyond what they think they are capable of. 

I have been a fitness enthusiast my entire life. My first job at 16 years old was teaching group fitness, and I was hooked.  I have been an avid runner and triathlete over the years, competing in many running races and triathlons including over a dozen half Ironmans and seven full Ironmans, including the Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona where I finished 15th in my age group. These days you will find me running on the fantastic trails or biking in the beautiful countryside we are so fortunate to have in Northwest Arkansas.

I’ve been a physical therapist for 28 years. I have specialized training in cancer survivorship training and rehabilitation, and Parkinson Wellness Recovery, a research based community exercise approach called Exercise 4 Brain Change.  Exercise really is medicine.  I cannot imagine my life without some form of exercise in it, and I want others to feel the same.  Everything that you put into it comes back to you, and more. ---Dana Kahl, PT, DPT
